Wii BOWLING LEAGUE - MEETING

Come to this meeting and officially register your team (1 to 2 people), plan the season schedule, make your own Mii, and play!
Everyone who wishes to join the league should come to this meeting. If you cannot attend, but still wish to join, let Adult Services know by Friday, May 17.
CASH DASH
Wednesday, May 23 | 5 pm to 7 pm | Community Room
Drop in for a few minutes between 5:00 and 7:00 to listen to Michelle Chavez from the Illinois State Treasurer's Office show you how to use the Cash Dash website.
She will then search your name to see if the state owes you any money!

The Friends of the Library Book Sale will be on June 2 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., in the library parking lot. Come support the library and find great deals on books, magazines, and CDs.
LETTER WRITING CLUB
Wednesday, June 6 at 6 pm | Conference Room
Bring back the art of sending real mail at our monthly letter-writing social, every 1st Wednesday starting in June. Stay in touch with loved ones, catch up with old friends, or let us help you find a pen-pal.
Supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring your own.
YOUTH SUMMER READING PROGRAM
Starting on Saturday, June 9
Join us this summer as we dream big and read!
Sign up in Youth Services, and start logging the books you read.
You'll have a chance to win prizes, get Reading Rally points, see live entertainment, and attend a pizza party finale.
CENTRAL STICKNEY BOOK SALE
Saturday, June 15 | 10 am - 3 pm | Central Stickney Park District
We will be holding a book sale on Saturday, June 15th, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the gym at the Central Stickney Park District, located at 4715 S Long Ave.
Come support the Friends of the Library and find great deals on used paperbacks, hardcovers, CDs, and magazines.
COOKBOOK BOOK CLUB
Wednesday, June 20 at 6 pm | Community Room
Register in Adult Services, and pick up the featured cookbook of the month. Try the recipes at home, and choose one to prepare for the meeting. On the day of the meeting, bring your dish to share, taste what others have brought, & share your experience with the cookbook. The next month’s cookbook will be available on the day of the meeting. |
