Intro to Excel, Tuesday, September 8th: Learn how to create basic spreadsheets and manipulate data in Excel. Register for Intro to Excel here: bit.ly/IntroExcelBasic 

Advanced Excel 1, Thursday, September 10th: Do you get or use information from a table? Join us for a ZOOM session discussion the Excel functions "VLOOKUP" and "HLOOKUP."  These functions allow information retrieval based on the leftmost vertical column (VLOOKUP) or the top row (HLOOKUP) of a table. Advanced Excel 2, Thursday, September 24th: Conditional Formatting. Want to automate highlighting data in your workbook?  Join us for a ZOOM session discussing "Conditional Formatting." Conditional formatting in Excel enables you to change the appearance of a cell or cells depending on the cell's content.

Create a Personal Budget Using Excel & Google Sheets, 10/22: Do you need help getting your personal budget organized?  Do you wish you had a tool to help you keep track of your personal finances? Learn how to use Microsoft Excel and Google sheets to create a spreadsheet for your personal budget. Click on this link to register.

Advanced classes will be taught by Ron Scharping.  Ron coached Excel users during his working career at Argonne National Laboratory, and has taught Excel at the Hinsdale Community Center and Indian Prairie Public Library

Walk-in Computer Class
Mondays at 1:30pm
If you have a question about computers, software, or technology, feel free to stop in on one of walk-in sessions and we will do our best to answer your question. If you have a specific problem, call us at 708-749-1050 x120 and will work to answer it before you arrive.
We also offer 1-on-1 computer tutoring. Let us know what time and day works for you and we'll schedule a session!

Sometimes our Librarians also teach program-specific computer classes, such as Microsoft Word & Excel, and resource-specific classes, such as Transparent Language & Universal Classes. Check our calendar for upcoming sessions.

Some sessions take place at the Library, & some take place off-site at a local clinic or township facility.
